Join Dr. Roslynn Brain and permaculture designer Jeff Adams of Terrasophia LLC (www.terrasophia.com) for an experiential course and public workshop to explore foundational concepts of Permaculture Design. A common theme throughout the course will be expanding this lens for systems thinking and integrative design to all facets of life and society. Using the campus as a learning laboratory, we will practice observation and site assessment techniques to cultivate a strong sense of place from which to develop design strategies for achieving our goals. The course and public workshop will culminate in a hands-on project transforming a campus space into a permaculture-designated demonstration site. USU Students, please register on banner under ENVS 4950/6900: Special Topics, Introduction to Permaculture Design – Principles and Practice.
