Comanche Creek annual Volunteer work weekend

Please join the Quivira Coalition and restoration experts in work to improve wetland function and keep the creeks flowing in the Valle Vidal. The Valle Vidal is located in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico within the Carson National Forest, approximately 2 hours from Taos, NM or Alamosa, CO.

We will be working in the Foreman, Sawmill, and Holman tributaries to Comanche Creek. These are truly beautiful areas, not easily accessible to the public. As always, we will be moving rocks, sod, and logs. Come to get muddy and then to relax in camp with friends old and new. Sunday will focus on innovative applications of Keyline Design for slope wetland restoration.
