Introduction to Permaculture: Principles and Practices

  • USU Logan Logan, UT (map)

Join Dr. Roslynn Brain and permaculture designer Jeff Adams of Terrasophia LLC (www.terrasophia.com) for an experiential course and public workshop to explore foundational concepts of Permaculture Design. A common theme throughout the course will be expanding this lens for systems thinking and integrative design to all facets of life and society. Using the campus as a learning laboratory, we will practice observation and site assessment techniques to cultivate a strong sense of place from which to develop design strategies for achieving our goals. The course and public workshop will culminate in a hands-on project transforming a campus space into a permaculture-designated demonstration site.
